When you donate
If you donate through our website, your payment is processed by Stripe or PayPal. We receive your name, email address, and donation amount. We do not store your credit card number — that information is handled entirely by Stripe or PayPal and never touches our servers.
We use this information to:
- Send you a donation confirmation and tax receipt
- Maintain records required by law as a nonprofit
- Follow up to thank you personally
When you sign up for our newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address through Kit. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send.
When you contact us
If you submit a message through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to you.
Automatically collected information
When you visit our website, standard technical information is collected automatically — including your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited. This data is used for security and to understand how our site is being used.
